Grassroots Training Course

Thursday 25th March - 6pm start
Gannons Park

Aytek Genc, St. George Football Association's Director of Coaching is conducting a Grassroots Coaching Course,
which is aimed at Junior Coaches and provides practical demonstration of various training sessions aimed
primarily for Coaches of the U5 to U10 age groups and also up to U12.

It's the first stage of the Coach Education process and anyone can attend.

It gives some great ideas for fun, suitable training sessions which engage children and help them learn.

A Handbook is given to all participants which provides extensive information on working with children,
training session outlines, duty of care and safety recommendations.
It is one of the most useful tools a coach can have.

Aytek will go through sessions that replicate everything in the book and coaches will learn how to conduct drills and
game play all in a no pressure, fun environment. Every participant will then be given a
Grassroots Coaching Certificate and added to the FFA and FNSW database.

This course is very worthwhile and an important part of what the SGSFA is providing to all its clubs.

INTERESTED IN ATTENDING?

Contact Kevin Velovski to secure your spot.
